*New* 6v6 Scramble League PLay

We are excited to debut our annual scramble league, to take place in March and April each year as a pre-season tool to get ready for playing soccer outdoors. We will have a few different levels of play and formats to ensure fun, safe and cohesive play.  **The season is underway, we are not accepting players at this time**

Commitment: attendance at majority expected but it is okay to miss one, will always be the same day of week and within the time range noted.   

Day of week: Sunday evenings 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm start times rotating weekly

Location: NorthEast Ice Arena 1306 Central Ave NE, Minneapolis

Cost: $70/player

Dates: March 13, 20, 27, April 3, 10, [name games Easter Sunday], 24, May 1

Structure: 

1 hour time block - compete against like skilled players - teams change slightly each week

Team composition:

Four pairings of 5 will be defined, and then paired together at random each week to form two teams of 10. We’ll play with 9 or find subs as needed. 

Each skill level will have 20 spots and 5 alternates to pull from when folks are out. 

Venue: 

This is a hockey rink made over into a turf-carpeted soccer venue, no cleats allowed, but a super fun and faster paced level of play. Focus will be on fun and safety, and increasing skill and player cohesion. 

Merit Divisions: 1hr of each day will be dedicated to a division, there will not be interplay between these division.

Equipment:

Players will bring royal blue and gray/white shirts weekly, shin guards required, no cleats allowed (turf and flat shoes only)
