We're Valencia Bound for the 2026 Gay Games

Gray Ducks athletes will represent Minnesota and the LGBTQ+ community at Gay Games XII in Valencia,

⚽ World's largest LGBTQ+ sporting and cultural event

🌎 Athletes from dozens of countries

🏳️‍🌈 Competing, connecting, and celebrating community

This June 27-July 4 we will return to the Gay Games for our second appearance with a squad to play 11v11 in Division 2 of the IGLFA based tournament. We return as prior Bronze Medalists with a few players from the 2018 squad and a handful of first time Gay Games players. Our last IGLFA appearance was in Sydney Australia in 2023 where we earned 1st place in Division II of the IGLFA World Championships. The division this year will have 19 teams, and the tournament itself will feature more than 80 soccer teams from around the world in 4 different formats and levels.

Hear from the players:

Without Ryan as the foundation of the club, there would be numerous people without an outlet to safely play soccer and enjoy a sport they love. His tireless efforts do not go unnoticed and he’s done great things for the soccer community as a whole. His work should be wholly recognized.  - Luke Sky
