We have several teams in the MWSL 11v11 tiered divisions, as well as a Minneapolis based 6v6 semi-competitive level. These formats are available May-Oct, then 7v7 runs Nov-Apr.
Competitive coed exists in the 11v11 format seasonally in a few different leagues, and then we support competitive and semi-competitive 7v7 year round.
We're proudly growing our tiered teams within the MRSL, which is governed by MSA as part of the US Adult Soccer branch. We have veteran teams in D2-D5 levels of the league.
Nearly half of our women's teams play in the rec level of the MWSL year round on Tuesday nights. It's a great level for those returning to the game after time away, aging and still playing, or just picking the game up.
There are very few leagues conducive to super rec level of play, so most folks should have experience when playing coed or seek out a binary team as both have better rec options than coed. We a range of coed teams and age specific teams for those over 30F/35M.
We are presently not placing beginner or highly rec level non-female players on our league teams. The baseline of league play for our teams is too high. We recommend you consider GoSoccer, the app GoodRec, Toca Burnsville or Ninth Street Soccer Minneapolis.

All community soccer members are welcome in our Flock as long as they support one another unconditionally. You can join our main group here on Facebook.

Our club was founded by LGBTQ+ players and is open to ALL persons as merit level of play is how most teams are developed. LGBTQ+ players can learn more here.

For those not desiring to play with male identifying players, Women's soccer is where it's at. We have a group dedicated just to you.

As our playing pool is aging, we're adding in masters, legends and ancient ranger levels of play for those 35+. Learn more here.
Our standard league teams are home to two levels of players typically. We field coed, men's and women's teams at these levels:
Competitive (Inter-A) level players have played competitive travel soccer as a youth through teen years and have a great foundation of skill and knowledge. Many played college, college club, and/oror high school varsity. Persons playing 11v11 should be more advanced.
Semi-Competitive (Inter B) level players have good skills and foundation of knowledge but may be rusty from time away, or only played soccer as a youth up through JV level. This level is still not a beginner level of soccer and is very much the average adult player in rec leageus.
Rec=Rec is the lowest level of soccer competition that may exist. We welcome this level of player to our open soccer events though to grow skill there. Limited spots at this level exist in league play as there are few leagues that have very low level soccer.

League soccer is by nature a competitive and organized playing space, but within that competition range is recreational through competitive. If you are absolutely new to soccer or need to learn the basics then playing league soccer is not our recommendation.
We recommend starting with pickup soccer, which you can find often in your local community via online social postings. We host some pickup soccer within our club but typically only for women and our lgbtq audiences. Why do we not host it for straight cis-men? The simple response is because that is pretty much every other orgs focus, and we are seeking to fill a gap in the community and our limited resources focus on those in most need.
We also recommend these great organizations to get started in light and organized play: GoSoccer, GoodRec, Ninth Street Soccer or others.
Learn how you can become your own team manager while using the branding and the resources of the Gray Ducks. This is a great option for someone who believes in our club's mission and enjoys our process, branding and the opportunity. It's okay too if you don't need us, we look forward to playing against you.
